Data Points - June, 1999 New High-Res Images From Clementine Release
A reader, Terry Bucurel, recently e-mailed me several images he obtained from JPL's PDS image archive. They appear to be high resolution images of the Sinus Medii region taken by the Clementine spacecraft. Since my previous attempts to obtain high res images from Clementine had gone for naught, I was pretty excited at first. However, I'm now pretty convinced that these are in fact cleaned up UV-VIS medium resolution images, rather than high res. Still, they are significantly better than what we have had before, and I thought they were worth posting.
